Be Patient and Conscientious When Booking
If availability is limited or when you are struggling to find an appointment time during our normal business hours email bcsmadvising@calpoly.edu. We can help you find a time to meet with an advisor outside our 9:00 am - 4:00 pm Pacific-time zone operating hours.
We encourage you to join our drop-in hours as much as you need to, as that is the fastest way to get support. You’re also welcome to email, call, or stop by our office, and our team will do their best to help you find answers.
We recommend bookmarking the First Available Appointment link, under the Book Now (All Majors) accordion below, and checking it regularly to view openings in real time for the next two weeks.
Please use your Cal Poly email when booking an appointment or contacting us. Turning off email forwarding ensures departments and faculty can easily verify your identity and respond to you efficiently.
Please do not be a NO SHOW! If you cannot keep your scheduled appointment use the Calendly link in your appointment confirmation email to RESCHEDULE or CANCEL so that another student may utilize that slotted time.
