Faculty Advising/Mentoring
Faculty take an active role in academic and career advising and mentoring. Students in this department are assigned to a faculty advisor/mentor at the time of entry to Cal Poly. You are encouraged to meet with your faculty mentor on a regular basis for guidance and support. Please contact the CSM Advising office or the Biological Sciences department to receive the name and contact information of your faculty mentor.
Credit/No Credit Policy
The Biological Sciences department does not allow students to take any major, concentration, or support courses CR/NC.
