Statistics Academic Advising

Statistics Department

On the Statistics Department website you will find information on the Statistics major, faculty and staff, tutoring resources, research projects, clubs, and the most recent edition of the statistics newsletter.

Faculty Advising/Mentoring

Faculty take an active role in academic and career advising/mentoring. All Statistics majors are assigned a faculty advisor, based on your last initial. Please see the Statistics Department website for a list of faculty advisors. Major advisors can assist students with course selection, answer department policy questions, and connect students with on-campus resources. You are encouraged to meet with your faculty advisor/mentor on a regular basis for guidance and support.

Credit/No Credit Policy:

The Statistics Department allows a maximum of 4 units of CR/NC grading for support courses only. No classes with a STAT prefix.
